Akhtar praises Kohli as the greatest, highlights Babar Azam's potential in cricket

During the conversation, Singh posed the question about the ongoing debate between Virat Kohli and Babar Azam to Akhtar.

Without hesitation, Akhtar quickly responded, describing Kohli as the greatest batter but also acknowledging Babar as an emerging sensation in the cricketing world. He praised Kohli's achievements while emphasizing that Babar has the potential to become the greatest batsman ever, particularly highlighting his efforts to improve in T20 cricket.

Akhtar also commented that people unfairly criticize Babar without valid reasons.

Harbhajan also shared his viewpoint on the matter, stating that Kohli has already established himself as a great player, while Babar still has a long way to go. He expressed confidence that Babar will eventually reach great heights as he is a talented player. However, Harbhajan mentioned that Babar may face challenges in T20 cricket compared to his proficiency in Test cricket.

It is worth noting that while Babar Azam is a talented cricketer, he is currently not close to Virat Kohli's records. Kohli has amassed 25,000 runs across all three formats, whereas Babar has scored 12,000 runs to date.
